Regular communicable disease management programme
This programme envisages to contain the communicable diseases by conducting medical camps, health awareness programmes and seminars throughout the state, wherever epidemics break out. The epidemic control measures are being initiated under the supervisions of RAECH (Rapid Action Epidemic Control cell-Homoeopathy), a mechanism now active in the Department.
Regional communicable disease prevention programme
The programme is currently being implemented in Kainakkari Grama Panchayat – an epidemic prone area in Alappuzha- so as to reduce incidence rate. Two floating dispensaries are currently functioning and one more floating dispensary is proposed in the year 2016-17.
